What is love? What is true love with a significant other? As I sit here and write this I just want you to know that there were no notes taken on this topic prior to writing this, it is coming straight from my heart, my experiences and true feelings about the topic. Love to me is a feeling of uncontrollable emotion regardless of thought. Although many say that our brain communicates with all the other organs in our body, the heart is rather a more complicated one to swallow. You can't always communicate with your heart through your thoughts, it has a processor of its own. Before I even start to write this story let me just say that you CANNOT make this shit up LOL! This is 100% true story! So I met guy on a dating app, he seemed decent so I gave him my number and we decided to chat via txt. However he looked familiar but I didn't know from where. I recently went to an event hosted by one of my favorite women empowerment agencies called Savoir Collab. What is a hustler really? To some people it has a positive connotation and to others it may be negative. There are definitely several ways to look at it. I prefer the positive way. Not everyone is born with the hustle gene in them but you can develop this so called strategy over the years. Over the last couple of months we've had some NYC sample sale fever hit Los Angeles. 260SampleSale and Eclipse have recently started renting out empty retail spaces in the Beverly Hills area. So you might think is this the traditional Los Angeles sample sale you're used to that has ridiculously low prices? The answer is no but their strategy is smart and it's working. They bring in high end brands such as Sandro, Maje, Philipp Lim, Zadig & Voltaire, Kooples and others. I did some research and went ahead and spoke to the employees at both companies. Basically they do a buy out with each brand with wholesale prices of overstock items and then sell them at 60% percent off of retail to their customers. So basically it's a little lower than outlet prices. What best place to do it ? Beverly Hills of course. Where the prices are all retail and very little on sale. A lot of you have been asking me to write about this for some time now. So here we go! I will try to make this short and to the point. Most of you message me and asking me omg how did you buy those $1200 authentic Chanel shoes for $100??? Well here is how and it doesn't always work but beginners luck is definitely a thing. Basically EBAY is a place where you can win some amazing auctions at very low prices. Most big EBAY stores/sellers will start their listings as low as 99 cents in the hopes that it will go up higher, but this is not always the case. A lot of the times new sellers attempt to do this as well and that is when you get super lucky! why? well because they don't know what they are doing and you get the chance to get lucky and score it for a low price. The other day I randomly stumbled across a great new show on Amazon called " The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" It's an amazon original and had a 9/10 rating with over 500 reviews which I thought was impressive. In case you didn't know Amazon actually operates quite differently from Netflix when it comes to originals. They only release one episode as opposed to an entire season to see reviews. I believe this is smarter and definitely more cost effective. Just imagine the cost of one episode is way less than an entire flopping season. Once they see the feedback from the first episode which is sort of the pilot they then either pick up the show for a season or 2 or move onto the next one. Luckily, this show in particular was picked up for 2 seasons and comes out on November 29th, 2017. I highly recommend checking it out! A lot of you may be wondering what I meant by " recycled fashion" in my last post. Well ladies and gents let me tell you it's revolutionary! Every 2 months or so I go through my closet and I clean out the items that I know I will no longer wear. Of course my ultimate classics and favorites will stay forever but there are those items that will not. I then post them on Ebay and sell them! For starters of course you will need an Ebay account. I suggest Ebay over Poshmark as Poshmark is really slow unless you have unlimited time to build your network. With Ebay they already have their world wide clientele and pretty much have that covered for you. Besides they take about 10% commission plus 3% for paypal transactions whereas Poshmark takes 20%. Today I want to talk about how I started selling on EBAY. It's a rather interesting story. As some of you may know I have a hustle instilled in me that runs in my bloodline and actually comes straight from my dad. My dad has been working since he was I believe about 11 years old. He has worked in many different fields until he discovered his talent which was antiques and art. He is a truly incredible artist and owns his own restoration business called Bach Antiques, at which he practically lives. I mean this man works 24/7 literally. But that's a whole different story that I'll save for another post. The spark to start selling on EBAY first came about when I was asked to go to Sundance Film Festival by the Ciroc events company that I was working for at the time. I jumped at the opportunity and really loved the whole experience. Madison Avenue, New York City, 4 years ago. I remember that day like it was yesterday. I walked into the Christian Louboutin store and saw these timeless special edition So Kate pumps called Tissu 😍 The red nails and fingers were a classic print.  I looked at the price and the shoes were over 1k. I was in no position to buy them for that price and so I left the store with just a dream in mind..... I randomly came across them on eBay a month ago, lost them in an auction twice and both times the winner didn't pay, I finally contacted the seller and offered a price I was able to pay and she accepted it. You never Know unless you ask. Today these brand new beauties are mine! Moral of the story is when it's meant to be it will be. As you may have seen on my Instagram I promised to do some posts on what I like to call "behind the fashion" what I mean by it is I'll be sharing the story of my bargains and how I bought the item, where and for how much! My purpose is to teach you ladies how to bargain shop without hurting your pocket!  Below you will see my Andre Assous colorful espadrilles that I found on poshmark for $8 plus shipping! They are fashion forward and totally funky for a cool outfit!  My other great find was these nude Andre Assous sandals which are classic and timeless! I can wear them with anything! The color is Devine and neutral! These I bought on eBay for $25 including shipping brand new in a box! Unreal as they retailed for $160 just a few years ago.
