My story, My hustle and how it all started...

What is a hustler really? To some people it has a positive connotation and to others it may be negative. There are definitely several ways to look at it. I prefer the positive way. Not everyone is born with the hustle gene in them but you can develop this so called strategy over the years. For myself personally It's definitely genetic and being Jewish helps :) I truly do believe that there is such a thing as a Jewish mentality and you don't have to be Jewish to have it. My father is the most hard working man I have ever met. He practically works 18/7 (sleeps for 6 hours) and absolutely loves it. It's what drives him and makes him happy. Fortunate for him he's an artist and truly loves what he does and has talent. Now that he is older for him it's more about the actual work than the hustle and thrill of making money. But long before this when he was younger he got his hands onto anything he could to make money. His story is quite interesting and I recently found ou...

Are NYC sample sale companies taking over LA?

Over the last couple of months we've had some NYC sample sale fever hit Los Angeles. 260SampleSale and Eclipse have recently started renting out empty retail spaces in the Beverly Hills area. So you might think is this the traditional Los Angeles sample sale you're used to that has ridiculously low prices? The answer is no but their strategy is smart and it's working. They bring in high end brands such as Sandro, Maje, Philipp Lim, Zadig & Voltaire, Kooples and others. I did some research and went ahead and spoke to the employees at both companies. Basically they do a buy out with each brand with wholesale prices of overstock items and then sell them at 60% percent off of retail to their customers. So basically it's a little lower than outlet prices. What best place to do it ? Beverly Hills of course. Where the prices are all retail and very little on sale. It's perfect for the woman shopping on Rodeo to stumble across 265 N. Beverly drive and find herself in ...

How to shop EBAY auctions and score some incredible deals!

A lot of you have been asking me to write about this for some time now. So here we go! I will try to make this short and to the point. Most of you message me and asking me omg how did you buy those $1200 authentic Chanel shoes for $100??? Well here is how and it doesn't always work but beginners luck is definitely a thing. Basically EBAY is a place where you can win some amazing auctions at very low prices. Most big EBAY stores/sellers will start their listings as low as 99 cents in the hopes that it will go up higher, but this is not always the case. A lot of the times new sellers attempt to do this as well and that is when you get super lucky! why? well because they don't know what they are doing and you get the chance to get lucky and score it for a low price. The whole thing is quite psychological if you think about it. So here I will give you step by step of how I buy on auction and win Gucci shoes for $30 or even Chanel shoes for that same price. Of course most of the...

Christian louboutin fantasy come true.....

Madison Avenue, New York City, 4 years ago. I remember that day like it was yesterday. I walked into the Christian Louboutin store and saw these timeless special edition So Kate pumps called Tissu 😍 The red nails and fingers were a classic print.  I looked at the price and the shoes were over 1k. I was in no position to buy them for that price and so I left the store with just a dream in mind..... I randomly came across them on eBay a month ago, lost them in an auction twice and both times the winner didn't pay, I finally contacted the seller and offered a price I was able to pay and she accepted it. You never Know unless you ask. Today these brand new beauties are mine! Moral of the story is when it's meant to be it will be. I wanted them enough to make them become mine even if it's 4 years later ❤️ #behindTheFashion  Yours truly, MKG

Fashion x Antiques

For the Bloglovin Contest :) Thank you for giving me the opportunity to strut my H&M stuff and mix it with different designers! I hope you enjoy this post! I had the pleasure of working with William Todman one of my favorite photographers who just gets my vision. We have been working on several different projects together! This one in particular was an interesting one. We wanted to shoot in LA with a non LA feel and what better way than to incorporate Antiques and an old school building location into the mix. Luckily my dad is in the antique business and has to most unique antique shop/ environment in Hollywood called Bach Antiques. We incorporated some of my favorite new fashion items into the mix and viola there you have it! We are going to continue with this series so please check back soon for more interesting photos! The vision behind this theme is that antiques are so unique and detailed just like fashion is. To me art is fluid whether your are wearing it, hanging it on your...

Behind the fashion.... Andre Assous espadrilles

As you may have seen on my Instagram I promised to do some posts on what I like to call "behind the fashion" what I mean by it is I'll be sharing the story of my bargains and how I bought the item, where and for how much! My purpose is to teach you ladies how to bargain shop without hurting your pocket!  Below you will see my Andre Assous colorful espadrilles that I found on poshmark for $8 plus shipping! They are fashion forward and totally funky for a cool outfit!  My other great find was these nude Andre Assous sandals which are classic and timeless! I can wear them with anything! The color is Devine and neutral! These I bought on eBay for $25 including shipping brand new in a box! Unreal as they retailed for $160 just a few years ago. But the beauty in this is they they never go out of style! Lucky me and could be lucky you if you take my advice :)  Xx, Mkg

Dream Chanel bag :)

There is usually a great story behind every amazing item that I purchase! In this story it's my vintage Chanel bag! I first saw this handbag some 7-8 years ago. I was with my boyfriend at the time at his friends house just hanging out. In comes his friend's chic stylish mom wearing this very same vintage Chanel bag! I remember it being love at first sight! I remember whispering to myself "one day I will earn enough to be able to purchase this same bag if I'm lucky enough to find it" well that day came a few weeks ago while I was browsing some vintage Chanel hangbags! It was love at first sight all over again! This bag was made sometime between 1994-1995 which is also the year I moved to the United States! All in all it has a lot of meaning to me! Xx

Peroni Nastro Azzurro x Gia Coppola Grazie Cinema Series in Los Angeles

Picture being at an event that is chic with an Italian twist of flavor powered by the best Italian beer on the market, Peroni of course. While watching one of the most classic Italian films " The Bicycle Thief"guests dined on delicious oysters, enjoyed the beautiful sunset with a cold beer while they mingled and got to enjoy a nice Tuesday evening. Guests included top bloggers, Austin Jackson, Ryan Cabrera, and of course Tracy Antonopoulos the director of "The Magic Word" which was the short film shown at the beginning of the event. Tracy happens to be a close friend of Gia Coppola who has curated this Grazie Cinema Series that was brought to us here in Los Angeles by Peroni. I can personally say that it was such a great event with lots of mingling and just a good old time!  Thank you Gia Coppola and Peroni for such a lovely evening! P.S. Everyone's fashion was on point! Fall Fashion favorites! Via Vogue :)

So fall is closely approaching and I couldn't be happier! Aside from spring, fall is my favorite season. I love layers and accessories not to say that it has to be darker colors either. You can always incorporate color into your fall and even winter wardrobe choices. Here are some of my favorite campaigns for the fall.
