Fashion x Antiques

For the Bloglovin Contest :) Thank you for giving me the opportunity to strut my H&M stuff and mix it with different designers! I hope you enjoy this post! I had the pleasure of working with William Todman one of my favorite photographers who just gets my vision. We have been working on several different projects together! This one in particular was an interesting one. We wanted to shoot in LA with a non LA feel and what better way than to incorporate Antiques and an old school building location into the mix. Luckily my dad is in the antique business and has to most unique antique shop/ environment in Hollywood called Bach Antiques. We incorporated some of my favorite new fashion items into the mix and viola there you have it! We are going to continue with this series so please check back soon for more interesting photos! The vision behind this theme is that antiques are so unique and detailed just like fashion is. To me art is fluid whether your are wearing it, hanging it on your...

Behind the fashion.... Andre Assous espadrilles

As you may have seen on my Instagram I promised to do some posts on what I like to call "behind the fashion" what I mean by it is I'll be sharing the story of my bargains and how I bought the item, where and for how much! My purpose is to teach you ladies how to bargain shop without hurting your pocket!  Below you will see my Andre Assous colorful espadrilles that I found on poshmark for $8 plus shipping! They are fashion forward and totally funky for a cool outfit!  My other great find was these nude Andre Assous sandals which are classic and timeless! I can wear them with anything! The color is Devine and neutral! These I bought on eBay for $25 including shipping brand new in a box! Unreal as they retailed for $160 just a few years ago. But the beauty in this is they they never go out of style! Lucky me and could be lucky you if you take my advice :)  Xx, Mkg

Dream Chanel bag :)

There is usually a great story behind every amazing item that I purchase! In this story it's my vintage Chanel bag! I first saw this handbag some 7-8 years ago. I was with my boyfriend at the time at his friends house just hanging out. In comes his friend's chic stylish mom wearing this very same vintage Chanel bag! I remember it being love at first sight! I remember whispering to myself "one day I will earn enough to be able to purchase this same bag if I'm lucky enough to find it" well that day came a few weeks ago while I was browsing some vintage Chanel hangbags! It was love at first sight all over again! This bag was made sometime between 1994-1995 which is also the year I moved to the United States! All in all it has a lot of meaning to me! Xx
