I haven't blogged in so long that I don't even know where to begin. I have so many thoughts and ideas I'd love to share with everyone.
First off lets start with some books. If you haven't yet read Valley of the Dolls, one of the biggest classics out there you most definitely have too. It's one of the most amazing books I've read. It's about a couple of girls starting up in NYC in the entertainment world and then moving to LA and back and their trials and tribulations with the industry, relationships both professional and personal as well as drug addictions in the 1940's . It's an amazing fast read and I recommend it to any modern girl especially if you live in LA or NY or are around ppl who are in the same business. Another book I just started reading is called Fifth Avenue, 5 A.M. a book about Audrey Hepburn, so far so good.
Movies, lets see the best one I've probably seen lately is Social Network which I'm sure a lot of you also agree with me on. It was well made and told a great story.
Shows!!!! my all time favorites include Modern Family and Mad Men a comedy and a drama my two favorite genres of film/tv. Check out both!
FASHION~!!!! now if you know me you know that I love fashion and am also pursuing a side career as a fashion stylist/expert. Realistically if you have it in you then you do. It's all about having the EYE for fashion. Going to school isn't going to teach you that, you have to have a vision. Some of the things to know for fall. Grey&beige are very in, so put some of you black away and show your more neutral side. more to come soon in a separate fashion blog :)
Aside from that in my personal life I finally signed back up to a gym that offered great dance classes and it really makes me happy to be dancing again. I used to professionally dance for over 10 yrs and also did some choreography for my high school when I went off to college years ago. When I say professional dancing I'm referring to ballet, jazz, modern and others not stripping not that I have anything against it. To each is own. I encourage everyone to participate at least in one hobby. I know its hard to find time, but trust me if I can do it so can you. I have 3 jobs and i told myself I will find time to dance again at least once a week and so I did. Whether its dance, or some other form or art of whatever your interested in take it up and do it, you'll feel phenomenal !
On another more personal note, my best friend of gazillion years has been thru a bad heartbreak but you know what at least she's back in my presence. She moved away for a bit and now she's back, although hard to get back up on her feet again all of us friends and family are here to help her out. Things don't always turn out to be what we expect them to but you know what we only have one life to live and therefore we move on and find other happiness to fulfill us and inspire us to move on to bigger and better things.
I love you all who read my blogs before and thanks for all the support I'm really going to try to get back on here and find time to write, it really is one of my passions. With the right time I also hope to one day write some amazing novels. So many things inspire me as I get older, I'm loving the growing/learning experience.
