McQueen inspired shopping experience in DT Showrooms!

As I received my Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty book from my cousin Rachel in NY who went to the exhibit and send me this as a gift! I was the happiest girl in the world when I received it. As I looked at it for over a week now and absolutely got inspired by the muse. So this past friday I went on a little shopping venture with my friends and when I got home realized that literally every piece that I bought was McQueen inspired. My father who is an artist in the antique side of the arts was astounded when I showed him the book and some of the work of the muse online. For my father to be impressed with anything art related really is near impossible. He was blown away by the artistry of McQueen as should everyone else who loves art and not just fashion. Attached are the pieces that I bought :) hope you enjoy and see the McQueen in them as I did with the patterns, shapes, colors and textures.

Isn't it funny how most people prefer to read personal blogs and are more interested in the drama and the gossip than anything else? just thoughts.... after being in a trap

Hi everyone this is my first blog, I haven't really wrote one in quite a long time. I'd like to express myself by revealing my feelings and thoughts from time to time. At this time I'm going thru what you can call a revelation. I've realized that the person I was dating on and off for 3 yrs now has turned out to be a complete stranger to me. I know him inside out probably better than he knows himself but I'd prefer for him to be a stranger from now on. Romance is a big part of love, so is connection, chemistry and that spark you feel between yourself and your mate or even someone from your past or your future. Love is a feeling that each person can characterize as their own, but when you feel it together w another person is unexplainable. Why does love hurt yet feel so good at the same time?
