DVF 40 "Journey of a Dress" Exhibit fabulousness :)

As we all know the wrap dress hit the globe with a huge impact on how women dressed 40 years ago when Diane Von Furstenberg first invented the amazing concept! It was the easiest dress to put on and take off, with a quick wrap around you were ready to take on the world in less than 2 min! My memory of it was quite different. I was young and saw my mom wearing it all the time when I was a teen and I would look at her like "what the hell are you wearing mama?" As I got older I developed a sense for classic and timeless fashion and understood the revolution the wrap dress made for women all over the globe. Today I got to experience all the most popular prints of the DVF wrap dress empire! I went to the LACMA exhibit called "Journey of a Dress" it was fantastic! I won't say more as I want everyone to go experience It for themselves :) If you are in LA definitely go check it out! I wore my own DVF dress :) (below are some photos) "Feel like a woman, wear a dress!" DVF

just thoughts.... after being in a trap

Hi everyone this is my first blog, I haven't really wrote one in quite a long time. I'd like to express myself by revealing my feelings and thoughts from time to time. At this time I'm going thru what you can call a revelation. I've realized that the person I was dating on and off for 3 yrs now has turned out to be a complete stranger to me. I know him inside out probably better than he knows himself but I'd prefer for him to be a stranger from now on. Although we've lived together for about 2 yrs the whole relationship was pretty much on my shoulders because i was the head of the relationship unfortunately because I was blindly in love. But what can you say more than just shit happens and you have to live and learn and move on. It was almost like babysitting a child, he had no job was trying to do stuff with his life but it wasn't really working out, and i can admit that he was pretty much taking advantage of the situation, but because love is so blind i ...

Revelations .... written 11/15/11

Isn't it funny how most people prefer to read personal blogs and are more interested in the drama and the gossip than anything else? I was debating all day today whether I should write a personal blog about my feelings and or what I'm thinking as of today and decided to go for it. As in the past it might have hurt some people and or got me in some trouble. But this is purely about my thoughts. Recently I have experienced some lows in my life and I noticed that it happens through out life and you begin to grow and discover more about yourself every day of your life. Some people enter your life while others exit, some interests replace old ones, some feelings develop as others disappear, so on and so forth. At this point in my life I feel disconnected from a several people in my life. It can go both ways, It may be me and how I feel or it may be the other person depending on what your preferences are in different situations. One thing is for sure, you cant expect people to have t...

Spread LOVE

Romance is a big part of love, so is connection, chemistry and that spark you feel between yourself and your mate or even someone from your past or your future. Love is a feeling that each person can characterize as their own, but when you feel it together w another person is unexplainable. Why does love hurt yet feel so good at the same time? Its the big question we all ask ourselves its like having a thin line between love and hate and pain and healing. It can change in a second, a minute, an hour, a week or even last a lifetime. I feel like these days love is very political and it kills the romance and that spark that you may have w person. Money, values, who supports who female vs. Male, who has more money, what house does one live in. If we throw all those things out the window can you imagine how amazing love would be if it was just PURE and the feeling only came from the ♡. Are we just afraid of honesty? Are we afraid to let our feelings flow? Or are we afraid of getting hur...
